Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, conferred the prestigious global Future Fit Seal upon three pioneering government projects at the World Governments Summit 2026. The awards, announced on the summit’s opening day in Dubai, recognized international initiatives demonstrating exceptional foresight and readiness to navigate complex global challenges through innovation, aligning with the UAE’s commitment to embedding future preparedness into governance structures.
The Future Fit Seal, initially a national UAE recognition, expanded globally in 2025 to acknowledge international public sector endeavors that maximize impact across critical future sectors. The 2026 selection involved a rigorous screening of over 1,500 submissions from more than 100 countries, spotlighting projects that deliver measurable, data-driven results.
Celebrating Proactive Leadership in Governance
The international award ceremony, held during the summit from February 3–5, was attended by senior officials including Her Excellency Ohood Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future and Vice-Chair of the World Governments Summit. H.E. Al Roumi emphasized that the Seal celebrates proactive leadership and reflects the UAE’s dedication to hosting a leading global platform for knowledge exchange and future-focused policy solutions.
The recognized initiatives were evaluated based on their innovative models and tangible positive impact at local, national, and global scales. The focus sectors include the new economy, advanced technology, sustainability, Fourth Industrial Revolution applications, food and water security, and enhancing quality of life.

Singapore’s initiative is setting a global benchmark in data-driven healthcare. The National Precision Medicine Programme (NPMP) systematically integrates genomic, clinical, lifestyle, and environmental data to advance targeted treatments, early disease detection, and preventive care strategies. Through large-scale genome sequencing across diverse population groups, the NPMP has positioned Singapore as a powerhouse in precision health research. Her Excellency Dr. Seow Shih Wee, Senior Director of Corporate Services at Precision Health Research Singapore (PRECISE), accepted the Seal.
