Dubai Chambers and NASSCOM Forge Alliance to Boost Agentic AI Innovation

Dubai Chambers has inked a strategic partnership with India’s top tech trade body NASSCOM to accelerate the adoption of Agentic AI, aiming to attract Indian deep-tech firms to the emirate and solidify its status as a global digital economy hub.

In a move that underscores Dubai’s ambitions to lead in next-generation artificial intelligence, Dubai Chambers signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) on August 19, 2026. The agreement focuses on advancing cooperation in Agentic AI—a subset of artificial intelligence where systems can autonomously pursue goals and make decisions—and supporting Indian companies specializing in these technologies as they expand into Dubai.

Under the terms of the MoU, both parties will work to build strategic partnerships among stakeholders across the Agentic AI innovation ecosystems in Dubai and India. The collaboration will facilitate knowledge exchange, launch joint initiatives, and connect leading Indian Agentic AI and deep-tech firms with business opportunities within Dubai’s innovation and partnership landscape. Specific areas of cooperation include specialized business events and programs designed to strengthen engagement among companies, investors, and entrepreneurs in both markets.

“Dubai’s efforts to support the private sector’s transition towards Agentic AI represent a pioneering global initiative to strengthen the competitiveness of the business community and help companies capitalise on advanced technologies and their applications in the future economy,” said H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers. “As part of Dubai Chambers’ role in implementing this initiative, we are expanding international cooperation and partnerships to build an integrated ecosystem that supports the adoption of Agentic AI by businesses, enhances efficiency and productivity, and creates new opportunities for economic growth.”

NASSCOM represents India’s $315 billion technology industry, with more than 3,500 member companies spanning startups to multinational corporations. The partnership taps into India’s deep pool of AI talent and innovation, offering a gateway for Indian firms to establish or expand operations in Dubai.

Building the Agentic AI Ecosystem

The MoU builds on earlier groundwork by Dubai Chambers. In June 2026, the organization formed the Executive Committee for Agentic AI as part of its role in implementing the broader initiative to transition Dubai’s private sector toward autonomous AI systems. The committee is tasked with accelerating the adoption of Agentic AI technologies, strengthening business readiness for global tech shifts, and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a hub for the digital economy and future industries.

Key responsibilities of the committee include:

  • Approving specialized training tracks in Agentic AI
  • Designing and establishing incubators for Agentic AI companies
  • Supporting the development of firms creating Agentic AI solutions
  • Promoting knowledge sharing and capacity building within Dubai Chambers

Broader Implications

The agreement signals a strategic pivot for Dubai, which has long positioned itself as a magnet for tech talent and investment. By partnering with NASSCOM, the emirate gains direct access to India’s vast tech ecosystem, potentially accelerating the adoption of Agentic AI across sectors like finance, logistics, healthcare, and smart city infrastructure. For Indian companies, Dubai offers a gateway to Middle Eastern and African markets, coupled with a business-friendly regulatory environment.

As Agentic AI moves from research labs into real-world applications—from autonomous trading algorithms to self-optimizing supply chains—the collaboration could serve as a model for cross-border technology partnerships. The next steps will likely involve joint workshops, pilot projects, and the launch of shared incubator programs, with both sides expected to announce specific initiatives in the coming months.
